Bob Bakish is President and Chief Executive Officer of Viacom Inc. and is responsible for growing Viacom’s industry-leading brands – including Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and BET – and the world-renowned Paramount Pictures film and TV studio. He is focused on investing in and developing new content, expanding distribution and pursuing strategic growth opportunities in Viacom’s core businesses.
Bakish has been promoted to his role after serving as President and CEO of VIMN – and its predecessor MTV Networks International – since 2007 and more than doubling the division’s revenue and consistently growing its profitability across that period. VIMN enjoyed its most profitable year financially in the 12 months to September 30th 2016, thanks to the success of its diversification strategy that has helped it build leading positions in some of the world’s most valuable media markets including established markets like the U.K., Italy and Spain, as well as higher growth markets such as India, Mexico, Brazil, China, Russia and Africa, where VIMN is the continent’s leading supplier of pay TV channels.
As CEO of VIMN, Bakish oversaw a massive expansion of the international footprint of Viacom’s branded TV networks, gaining distribution for Comedy Central and Nick Jr. and launching Spike and Paramount Channel – now the world’s leading ad-supported movie network – to sit alongside MTV and Nickelodeon on pay TV platforms worldwide. Viacom’s 200 plus TV channels now reach a cumulative 3.9 billion subscribers across more than 180 countries and broadcast in more than 40 languages, making it the world’s largest entertainment company by reach across TV.
In addition, Bakish built scale for Viacom in high value and high growth international media markets through the launch or acquisition of large general entertainment networks including Colors in India – through its Viacom18 joint venture with Reliance Industries – Channel 5 in the UK, which has just delivered record profits under Viacom’s ownership, and, most recently, Telefe in Argentina.
Bakish also rapidly accelerated VIMN’s digital strategy and grew online engagement with its video content, by launching a range of innovative multi-platform products, including My Nick Jr. and My MTV and mobile streaming service, Viacom Play Plex, which makes content from all Viacom’s branded TV networks available to view on-demand and on-the-go. Play Plex mobile apps have been downloaded 16M times to date and served more than half a billion streams.
Under Bakish’s direction, VIMN has also substantially increased the volume of programming it originates and owns internationally, driven in part by the launch of Viacom International Studios in Miami, and the expansion of Channel 5 Productions in the UK. VIMN has also scaled up production of short form video content for distribution via its own digital properties and third party social media platforms, including via MTV and Comedy Central’s global channels on Snapchat Discover; Viacom now has an estimated 850 million fans and followers on social media worldwide.
In addition, Bakish has expanded the ‘real world’ presence of VIMN's brands through live events, stores, theme parks and recreation.
Prior to taking over responsibility for Viacom’s international business, Bakish held a series of corporate, sales and development roles at both Viacom Inc. and Viacom’s MTV Networks (MTVN). From 2004 to 2006, he played a key role in Viacom’s senior management team, serving as Executive Vice President, Operations and Viacom Enterprises with responsibility for Strategic Planning and Business Development and a range of business units including the Famous Music Publishing Company and Famous Players Theater Circuit in Canada. He served as EVP and Chief Operating Officer, MTVN Advertising Sales, from 2001 to 2004, and was also Chairman of the Cable Television Advertising Bureau from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Bakish was Senior Vice President, Planning, Development and Technology at Viacom.
Before joining Viacom Inc. in 1997, Bakish was a partner with Booz Allen & Hamilton in its Media and Entertainment practice. He worked with clients in the TV, motion picture, book publishing and new media industries in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia. Previously, he worked at AT&T in network systems.
Bakish has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. Mr. Bakish serves on the boards of both schools and is also a Director on the Board of AVID Technologies, a NASDAQ-listed company.

Jim Bombassei is Senior Vice President of Investor Relations & Treasurer. In this role, Mr. Bombassei oversees the Company’s relationships with equity research analysts and investors on a global basis. Christa A. D’Alimonte is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, overseeing Viacom’s global legal functions. D’Alimonte joined Viacom as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary in 2012 from Shearman & Sterling LLP, where she was Deputy Practice Group Leader of the Firm’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions group.
In her practice at Shearman & Sterling, D’Alimonte represented a broad range of domestic and multinational clients – including Viacom - on public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as corporate governance matters. D’Alimonte joined Shearman & Sterling in 1993, and became a partner in January 2001.
D’Alimonte graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the American Criminal Law Review, and received her A.B. in Politics and a Certificate of Proficiency in Latin American Studies from Princeton University. Wade Davis is Chief Financial Officer of Viacom. In this role, which he assumed in November 2012, Mr. Davis is responsible for overseeing the core financial functions of the company on a global basis, including Financial Planning, Tax, Treasury, Reporting, and Risk Management. Additionally Mr. Davis oversees Corporate Development, Strategy, Research & Consumer Insights functions for the Company.
Prior to joining Viacom, Mr. Davis was an investment banker in the technology and media sectors for more than a decade. Tom Gorke is Executive Vice President, Head of Distribution & Business Development for Viacom, Inc. He oversees Viacom’s media networks distribution partnerships and strategy with all domestic affiliates, SVOD platforms and other content licensees. Prior to that position, he was Senior Vice President of Content Distribution and Marketing for Viacom Media Networks, where he was responsible for all of Viacom Media Networks' digital content distribution and select linear deals, and oversaw Viacom’s partnerships with subscription video aggregators, electronic sell-through providers and other mobile and internet-based content distributors. Gorke also previously served as the Vice President of Digital Distribution, focused specifically on online content deals and relationships, as well as Director of Digital Operations and Distribution Development.
Before joining Viacom in 2005, Gorke was Manager of Strategy and Investments for the CBS Internet Group, where he helped lead the origination, analysis and management of a portfolio of investments in internet companies. He began his career at investment bank Alex. Brown as a financial analyst in the Consumer Group.
Gorke sits on the board of the T. Howard Foundation and was included among Multichannel News 2013 list of 40 Under 40. He received an M.B.A. with honors and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

James Gianopulos is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Pictures, a role he assumed in April 2017. Mr. Gianopulos has been involved in the evolution of new entertainment media and technologies for more than 30 years, and has been recognized as an industry leader.
Prior to joining Paramount, Gianopulos served as the Chairman and CEO of Twentieth Century Fox from 2000 to September 2016. In this role, he oversaw all feature film production, marketing, and global distribution of film and television content in all media.
From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Gianopulos oversaw Twentieth Century Fox Television Studios. He served as President of Twentieth Century Fox International from 1994 to 2000. From 1992 to 1994 he served as Fox’s President of International Television and Home Entertainment. Before joining Twentieth Century Fox, Mr. Gianopulos held senior management positions at Paramount and Columbia Pictures from 1981 to 1992, following his career as an attorney specializing in entertainment.
Mr. Gianopulos is a Governor and the Treasurer of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, a member of the Board of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and is a Trustee of Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Trustee of the American Film Institute. He is involved in a number of civic and philanthropic activities, including serving as Chairman of the Motion Picture & Television Fund, on the National Entertainment Advisory Council for the Anti-Defamation League, and the Board of the X-Prize Foundation. In 2013, the Simon Wiesenthal Center bestowed him their highest honor, The Humanitarian Award.
Mr. Gianopulos attended the master’s program at the New York University School of Law, the Fordham School of Law (Juris Doctor, 1976) and Boston University (BA, 1973).

Ms. Lea brings two decades worth of leadership experience and institutional knowledge to Viacom as its Executive Vice President of Global Government Affairs, a position she has held since 2006. In this role, she oversees the development and execution of government relations strategy for the company both domestically and internationally.
Ms. Lea’s career at Viacom began in 1997 as its Vice President of Government Affairs, and continued as the department’s Senior Vice President. She also served as Vice President of Government Relations for Dallas-based television broadcasting company Belo Corporation, and as SVP of Government Relations for the National Association of Broadcasters.
Ms. Lea obtained a J.D. from Georgetown Law, and graduated cum laude from Howard University with a B.A. in Broadcast Managment. She currently sits on the boards of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

David Lynn is President and Chief Executive Officer of Viacom International Media Networks, giving him management oversight of all of Viacom's media networks and related businesses outside the U.S.
Prior to assuming this role in January 2017, Lynn was President of VIMN UK, Northern and Eastern Europe from 2014, having been Executive Vice President, Managing Director of the group since March 2007. In this role he was responsible for the largest of Viacom’s geographic divisions outside the U.S., encompassing the company’s operations in 33 European countries including the UK, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Scandinavia. The group has grown profitability under Lynn’s management in every year since 2010 thanks, in particular, to increased share of viewing in the UK driven by success with local commissions and an expanding distribution footprint, including the first launch of Spike outside the U.S.
Lynn led the acquisition of Channel 5 Broadcasting in 2014 and its successful integration into Viacom. Under his management, Channel 5 has performed strongly, reporting the highest operating profit in its 20-year history in the financial year to 30th September 2016.
He was also previously responsible for Viacom’s distribution strategy outside the U.S., overseeing deals with key international affiliates and securing distribution for Viacom content on video-on-demand platforms.
From December 2004, Lynn served as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, for Nickelodeon UK. Under his direction, Nickelodeon became the UK’s most popular children’s TV network, launched Nick Jr. and kick-started its digital strategy. Prior to this, Lynn worked for Paramount Comedy Channel in the UK from 1999 onwards, rising to become General Manager and moving the business into profit, as well as securing channel launches for the brand in Spain and Italy.
Lynn is a member of Viacom’s Global Inclusion Advisory Committee and has championed the company’s diversity strategy in the UK with Channel 5 re-joining the Creative Diversity Network.

Previously, Mr. Mills served as President and Chief Operating Officer for BET Networks. In this capacity, Mr. Mills led its business functions, including sales, finance, legal and business affairs, human resources, digital, research, strategic planning, business development, and administration. Prior to that, Mr. Mills was Chief Financial Officer and President of Digital Media. As CFO, Mr. Mills was responsible for the company’s finance functions, including accounting, reporting, financial planning, tax, treasury and controls, as well as corporate research, strategic planning and business development. As President of Digital Media, Mr. Mills launched BET Mobile and BET’s digital video distribution operations. Before becoming CFO, Mr. Mills was Executive Vice President and COO of BET Interactive, where he oversaw the launch of BET.COM and led the property to become a leading online destination for African Americans.
Prior to joining BET as Senior Vice President of Business Development in 1997, Mr. Mills worked in investment banking and served as Deputy Treasurer of the City of Philadelphia. Prior to founding Schireson Associates Kern led the Marketing and Product teams at Informative an online market research firm that pioneered a technology for combining structured and unstructured data to derive rich context. Prior to Informative, Kern served as a senior executive in Product Management and Marketing roles at two venture-funded startups in the US and UK and was the Chairman of an educational non-profit that recruited, trained, and placed at-risk young adults into entry level jobs in technology support.
Early in his career Kern specialized in network security and was responsible for the design and management of some of the largest private networks in the world. He has lectured extensively on this topic, written two advanced courses, and published a column in PC Magazine.
